Terms of Service

By creating an AffirmationGram account or sending a telegram, you're agreeing to these terms. We've tried to keep them plain. Questions: bard@affirmationgram.com.

1. The service

AffirmationGram delivers personalized song videos and daily affirmations. The "bards" are characters we create. The songs are one-of-one pieces generated for a specific recipient and occasion.

2. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your sign-in email secure. Tell us immediately if it's compromised.

3. Eligibility

You must be 13+ to use AffirmationGram, and 18+ to purchase a paid plan. One person, one account.

4. Content you provide

Recipient names, occasions, and topic notes are the inputs. You warrant that you have the right to send a telegram to your chosen recipient. You will not use AffirmationGram to harass, impersonate, or deceive anyone.

5. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

  • Send a telegram to someone who has asked you not to contact them.
  • Send a telegram with a recipient name that is a slur, pattern of abuse, or URL.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or republish our bards, voice samples, or video assets.
  • Remove or obscure the "sent via AffirmationGram" end card.
  • Use the service to transmit spam, phishing, or fraud.

Violation may result in immediate account termination, a refund freeze, and (in severe cases) a referral to law enforcement.

6. Payments

Stripe handles all billing. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. A la carte packs are one-time charges; credits never expire. Gift subscriptions follow the cadence and rollover rules on the pricing page.

7. Refunds

  • Subscriptions: prorated refund available within 7 days of the charge if no deliveries have fulfilled. After 7 days or first fulfillment, refunds are at our discretion.
  • A la carte packs: full refund within 7 days of purchase if no credits have been spent. Partial refunds for unused credits thereafter.
  • Delivery failures: if a telegram legitimately fails to deliver due to our error, we'll re-send or refund the credit.

8. Intellectual property

The bards, AG wordmark, voice models, and visual templates are ours. The generated song for your recipient is yours to share freely, so long as you don't strip the end card or use it commercially without a license.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may terminate at any time by canceling your subscription and emailing bard@affirmationgram.com for full account deletion.

10. Disclaimers

AffirmationGram is provided "as is." We do our best to deliver on the promise, but we can't guarantee your recipient will enjoy the song, or that a video will render perfectly every time.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the service is capped at the amount you've paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Arbitration + governing law

Disputes go to binding arbitration in Travis County, Texas, under Texas law. Class actions waived. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of creating your account by emailing us.
